My ex paid to have acid thrown in my face, N.J. woman says as she faces ‘astronomical’ medical bills

A New Jersey woman has launched a fundraising drive for herself after she says her “disobedience” prompted her abusive ex-fiancé to hire someone to douse her with acid in an elaborate revenge plot.
Three people are charged with attempted murder in the July 26 incident in Gloucester County.
